Had dinner and a walk with an old school friend, he tried to convince me that the martians once landed in mars den aka marsden and the site has been converted into a lake and is under observation from UNIT but I reckon he has just watched one too many episodes of dr who. We went the wrong way around the lake and it was all swampy and a bit scary sometimes but we made it around. Is nice to battle against the elements sometimes though, made me think of those early sherlock holmes films and the hound of the baskervilles.
