Longer description: This walk will take us west along the Thames, then climbs up to take in the view from Winter Hill. After a walk through the woods we’ll arrive at the picturesque village of Cookham Dean. Here you can enjoy sandwiches on the village green, or pay a visit to the pub:
www.jollyfarmercookhamdean.co.uk/ . After lunch we’ll head over to Cookham, and then stroll back along the Thames.
Starting Point: Wakeman Road car park, Bourne End.

Longer description: Cookham, public car park on the B4447 road. Walk is partly along the Thames with good views. One-hour pub stop in Marlow. The Stanley Spencer Gallery is in Cookham (Vicki’s walk on 18 May offers another chance to see some of his paintings).
