Midsummer’s Eve Walk
Make the most of one of the longest days of the year by joining a WDC Ranger on a very pleasant stroll along the river. Just in case bring waterproofs and sturdy footwear. Approximately 4 miles along the Thames to Hurley and back, taking around 2½ hours.

Venue: Meet in Court Gardens Car Park outside the Sports Centre, Marlow.

Roald Dahl Foundation Family Fun Afternoon
This afternoon will include brass band, Pimms tent, teas, magician, Morris Dancers etc. There will also be lots of sideshows for the children, Dahl Stories read by local celebrity and much more.
Cost: Entrance fee on the door
Time: 2.00 – 5.00 pm

Longer description: Starting Point: The car park is off Wycombe Lane at Wooburn Park. Turn off the A4094 near Wooburn church between Wooburn Green and Bourne End. The car park is adjacent to the recreation grounds.

A moderate length walk through pleasant countryside to Cock Marsh, Cookham and Hedsor via the Thames path with a short pub stop for a drink.
